EQTrack Go To

"EQTrack Go To" allows to align a mount, and point any celestial coordinate, using stepper motors on two axes. The orientation of the axes can be arbitrary (i.e.: equatorial, altazimuth, or alt-alt mount).

I currently use it to control an alt-alt mount which was made by my father. We originally developped it as a "stabilized mount" usable on a boat, but I did not (yet) found commercial gyros sensitive enough. It is anyway a wonderful Go To mount for visual use.

  • The main features of EQTrack Go To are detailed on the features page.
  • The tutorial page helps you build, and start using the controller.
  • The user manual explains how to use the controller.
