Please understand that I am currently the only developer of
this program. I made a concious choice since day one to
focus on coming up with a simple, easy program thats easy to
download, no installation necessary and works with as little
hassle as possible. Hopefully with that, very little
documentation will be necessary. Admittedly, the program
hasn't reached the standards that I've set for it. Then
again, its only been 2-3 weeks since I first started writing
this.
Fyi, some simple steps on how to download and install is now
available on the website eqmaps.sourceforge.net. There's
also a webstart experiment that hopefully will become a one
click install process when I'm done with it (It is currently
one click for those who already have webstart installed, I'm
trying to figure out if I can make it auto-install webstart
too).
I hope this enough for most people to start using this program.

Why not just add the readme file to the download list? That
should be enough for most people to get started.
