#76 Nothing Happens

I follow the instructions, download, change
eqhost.txt, copy files in, change the shortcut to the
patchme shortcut, and when I go to load it up, it
flashes on the screen for a few seconds then shuts
itself down. I've tried this with every single version
you have in your list and I've gotten the same results
each time. I even tried using your VerCheck program
and it crashed immediately. What am I doing wrong?

This isnt a bug, this is user error

This is caused by using Windows Vista. Right click the shortcut you use, go to Compatibility, and choose 'Run as Windows XP (Sp3), then try running it. If it does not work, open compatability, and start checking different things, and trying again.
