#265 Error: Error while configuring external API linking

Hello,

I am trying to use external api linking and I get the following error :

Error: Error while configuring external API linking: AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'register_local_role'

Also, I would like to use it with epytext and would like to know the correct syntax for it as the only example I found was for restructuredText.
