Hi all, I'm sorry to cross-post, but I'm trying to drum up some interest, and I'm fairly certain all these communities are affected. There's currently a push on to make some modifications to EPP, mostly to deal with editorial issues. The discussion has been going on on the provreg list (you can find the archives at <http://www.cafax.se/ietf-provreg/maillist/>). I'm attempting to drum up interest, because so far the community around these changes appears to consist of maybe half a dozen people. I'm worried that everyone's input isn't being heard. I think it'd be really great to hear more from possibly affected parties. I should point out that I do have an axe to grind, because there are some changes I would like to see (most of which have been fairly unpopular). I've outlined some of my experiences in <http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-sullivan-epp-experience-00.txt>. There's already been a request that others with experience either prepare a similar document, or at least make their views known in some forum. I'll state for the record, however, that I'm not beating the bushes for support; I'm just hoping that more people will speak up, so that we can be reasonably confident that any changes we propose for real will be ones that the wider registry/registrar community can support.
