however .NET has its own built in classes for xml parsing and ssl =
cryptography and I would have thought producing a .NET toolkit would =
have significantly easier than a Java one.

I am not sure if there is sufficient level of .NET expertise within=20
existing EPP RTK team. Implementation of .NET EPP client package may=20
depend on reinforcement of the team with new  contributors who have=20
necessary .NET skills.

This is interesting as we are in the process of migrating from VC++ code =
to .NET code for epp operations.

A .NET toolkit would be very helpful to us as well.

Hi !

As we are new to this mailing list, please correct us if we are wrong.

We have done a considerable amount of work in .NET [ EPP ] and when finally 
we wanted to test it, we are getting stuck with SSL handshake. What we 
understand is that our SSL certificate is not properly sent to the EPP 
server to create a viable connection.

Actually we have been using SSL in e-commerce related areas where the setup 
of SSL certificate is more easy. But with EPP we are not able to understand 
what goes wrong.

We have a private key, certificate. Do we need anything else to be sent to 
the server ? If so can any one let us know how [ We know... you guys might 
have answered such a question quite often ]

Regarding the XML and cypting facility... what we feel is java [JSSE] is way 
ahead of .NET. But .NET 2.0 [Beta ] is quite easy.  We are working with a 
round about method to create a wrapper like JSSE.

Please help us in solving this SSL issue.
