I changed your subject to be more specific. To me, your error "OutOfMemoryException" has nothing to do with epp. You might have a design error. Look for your code where it is calling itself infinitely (no way out). Best regards, Frank Hu Domain Bank, Inc. -----Original Message----- From: epp...@li... From: Leszek <le...@me...> Subject: [Epp-rtk-devel] OutOfMemoryException Hi, I am totally new to EPP subject. I have tried to connect to Test EPP Server which is available here: =20 epp-test.libertyrms.info:65000 (after successfull registration). I've used the EPP-RTK client implementation (java) from Sourceforge. Besacuse test server doesn't support SSL communication, I've changed property "rtk.transport" in "../etc/rtk.properties" file. Its original value was: "EPPTransportTCPTLS" and I've replaced it by: "EPPTransportTCP" - is it enough to change communication to non-SSL? The messsage I receive while running example test scenario (e.x.: =20 SessionExample included in EPP-RTK package) is java.lang.OutOfMemoryException. Setting JVM options like "-Xmx512M -Xms128M" doesn't help at all. Do you have any ideas what is wrong here? But it looks like Leszek is trying to run the SessionExample and it's failing. those should be the only settings you need to change to switch to TCP. ah, but I think that the sandbox hosted by Afilias is still only using EPP "pre02". Can you guys at Afilias confirm this? This could be causing the memory error because in epp0705 and rfc, there's a 4-byte "content length" header sent before the xml. but in epp02, there's no header. The epp server instance at epp-test.libertyrms.info:65000 is still running EPP "pre02". There are plans to upgrade but they are not precise enough to provide timeline. I will provide timeline as soon as it will be available.
