There's another known free software project named Epiphany - a webkit based browser. Looks like it is supported by more people and being developed better.
I think I am not the one who is confused seeing in synaptic who different applications with the same name. Maybe it would be better to invent a new name? I don't know, maybe *Dash, Boulder*, *Pusher, MicroPlex, NanoPlex or something?
AFAIK the package and the executable were renamed to epiphany-game in debian and in every other place there were conflicts.
About the confusion: this project was released four years before and it was included in Debian since then. The existence of other projects "being developed better" should not be a rule in renaming existent project, and also may sounds a little harsh.
