Translating the EpiDoc Guidelines

A few key pages of the EpiDoc Guidelines have been translated into multiple languages, primarily for the outreach value. It is generally not considered worthwhile to maintain translations of all guidelines pages, because of the difficulty of keeping these pages in sync as the content is updated and improved. Project-specific guidelines in other languages are potentially valuable, and we will be happy to link to them from the front page (as we do to Telamon, etc.).

If you would like to volunteer to translate one or more pages into a language that is not yet represented, please get in touch with Gabriel Bodard in the first instance, who will give guidance on what is involved, provide XML templates, etc.
