Good practice notes for authoring Guidelines pages

Randomly sorted notes at the moment. These should perhaps be organized, and written from the ground up, with "obvious" things set out rather than only obscure points.

  1. All pages discussing transcription elements (names "trans-*.xml" in the Guidelines) should include some reference to the handling of given features in Diplomatic versus Interpretive transformation. (Even if that reference says only, "This feature is not handled differently in diplomatic and interpretive transformations.")
  2. All pages discussing specific features in the Guidelines should include cross-references to other pages with similar, comparable, or contrasting information, especially if these pages will not be picked up by the automated "see also" index that links to other pages that discuss any of the same elements in the current page.
