No

The EpiDoc Guidelines process currently involves a complicated sequence of 8 or 9 transformations in order to generate all of the XML examples in separate files, according to different values of the $leiden-style parameter. This would be much neater if we were to re-engineer the whole thing using tunnel parameters, which should enable exactly the same set of examples to be generated without running the process multiple times and calling on external files.

While we're at it, I'd like to be able to generate diplomatic transformation in these places, and maybe other features such as verse lines, etc. A slightly bigger re-engineering there, but still not insuperable, I think.

Emmanuelle will convene a half-day sprint to work on this, perhaps in November 2016.

An initial investigation of this ticket indicated that the re-factoring involved in implementation would be non-trivial. Further action has not heretofore been undertaken on account of the substantial time commitment involved. The current ticket owner expresses hope (hopefully more than merely aspirational) that the time required will present itself in the not-too-distant future. Of course, if anyone else feels an urgent need to take this ticket on, he or she will meet little to no opposition.
