Pietro wants to discuss positioning some information about intellectual property in the guidelines. We have examples http://www.stoa.org/epidoc/gl/dev/supp-publication.html but no text.
I think this page needs more precise advise on how to encode the various and different Intellectual property rights statement one might need or wish to declare.
For example we need to encode IPR statement for each photo linked in the EpiDoc file.
we currently follow the suggestions in the above mentioned page for the statement which we consider about the current publication.
We do like this for images:
<graphic n="UTS_5" url="https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:UTS_5.png">
<ref type="license" target="creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/">Licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported license. </ref>
And like this for the translation:
<p> To the emperor Caesar Nerva Traianus, son of the divine Nerva, Augustus, Germanicus, Dacicus</p>
<desc><ref type="license" target="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/">Licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported licence.</ref>
I think the page could benefit from a clarification of what kind of information about IPR can be encoded and how.
