A couple of small problems with the Guidelines page on Text Direction:
<lb/>
is ignored by the transformation?). It is also not clear to me whether you would expect line 2 to have a l2r arrow, because although it is the default direction, an editor might want to be explicit in a complex document like this one. Either fix the code, if so, or make explicit in the accompanying comments, if not.Both probably quick fixes, but Tom's input might be useful in deciding what to do.

Request Features:
#87Pushed to future release.
@paregorios: this seems like a simple enough ticket, but requires a decision before action, which presumably slowed things down. Might we have a quick chat about it before September (and therefore hope to implement it for milestone:9.2?
Ticket moved from /p/epidoc/feature-requests/132/
When this ticket is addressed, the page should also have a brief mention of how to handle directionality when different languages are involved. At least a reference to the page on Mult-language texts (https://epidoc.stoa.org/gl/latest/trans-foreigntext.html )
@thomaskollatz will test various configurations to see why/when the arrow indicating directionality appears or not.
