I would try to avoid having branches. For start we can simply use prototype module until we decide what exactly to do...?

Hi,

The JSON classes should be rewritten and the plugin should actually archive and pass (using JSON) the multiple PV data and including status, timestamp, etc for each PV.

Where should I submit the code? I suspect we should have a subversion branch for the original CosyLab version and a separate branch for this prototype.

Thanks Kay,

I definitely agree the Wiki is the best place to collect the info - 
let's use the email list for discussions about the stuff we put there.
(As discussions are not well represented on a Wiki.)

For the email-list: It is very safe to assume that whoever writes to the 
list is subscribed to it, so I think we should always reply to the list 
only, without any CCs for individual members - those just create 
additional inbox noise.

I think the wiki is more useful than a chain of emails for collecting the
info, so I put the little I remember there:

EPICS Web Service project on SourceForge

Hi,

following up on our recent video meeting, I have created a SourceForge 
project called "EPICS Web Service" to collect discussions, requirements, 
specifications  and (last not least) implementations.

This mailing list is intended for discussion, its archive can be viewed 
on SourceForge. For a start, I put everyone who was involved at the 
recent meeting on the list, feel free to unsubscribe or invite others as 
needed or appropriate.
