ePICC (easy Process Identification and Controller Configuration) is a Open-Source-Solution for quick PID-controller configuration on Siemens SIMATIC S7-PLCs. It creates a mathematical model of the process and let you choose from a variety of controllers.

Although I finished my Thesis in autumn 2011, the software itself is in a very early state. Currently it not as easy, comfortable and stable as it should be. Also a english translation is missing. In the next months I will try to bring it to a good stable release. Feel free to use it for whatever you have to control. It would be very useful if you give me some feedback and even better if support me in the development of the tool.
