If you put your name, links, banners in envo [anywhere in source code, site etc] then TiMax ask you to pay then the money goes to TiMax pocket, it means TiMax take a direct profit for his own benefit. In this case, you or all of our community have the right to concern. But he did not do that way! If you open all code sources you will find a promotion links around. Whatever the target are, to promote your self as hobbyst, professionals etc, anybody who involved in envo community has the right to put their promotion links, as long as they contribute with this community. Contribution to the opensource can behalf on your personal name, your company name or your friends name. All of these are legal as long as you are not paying anything or get paid for anything. Promotion links are not always intend for commercial target. There are lot of opensource people who want to build the network communities, exploring their hobby, skill contribute it to community for free. I'm running my own business over than ten years, there is a Chinese word I always keep in my mind: never calculate others fortune, just see your own hand. As an Indonesian I have my own philosophy, I always start my day based on my feeling, my faith and trust. Best regards, sjah |
