I agree. We have to change the default and required fields to a minimum. =
And all additional fields for registration must be up to site admin.

Is this link a modified NS-NewUser-module? Or what do you want to say?
I think we can change NS-NewUser so all other fields, except Short name =
and passwort, can administer in the "User settings::Dynamic data" section. =
There the admin can activate the fields for the registration form. I'm not =
sure, if we need it on installation time.
