Hi friends, what's going on with the germna-speaking eNvo support-site? Meanwhile I'm the only active admin and supporter there. I don't hear anything from Windmeup and Naphta since nearly two eeks. Did there happen any trouble, I didn't get any notice about it? At envo.de there is starting some rumour about that, see the thread "DAS NERVT ECHT...", which means: "IT'S REALY BORING..." http://www.germany.envolution.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Arena_Forum&file=index&action=viewtopic&topic=447&12 We have some questions about themes, I can't answer. We have some very active theme-developers, which are representing a big community by themselfes. They don't know, what in themes changed between 1.2 and 1.2.5FLS. I can't answer there questions and they aren't able to develop there themes. (Is there still any use of fontsize setting in encompass? etc.) I need some help, or we will get a serious demage in our german community hanks for Your help gatonero/Christoph -- Christoph Schwaeppe mailto:chr...@t-... |

Hi Max; they are able to develop own themes. Have a look at http://cms-themes.de/. The first article there you will understand You are right, some of them want, want and some are very fireheads. But I'm alone since two weeks, we didn't change envo.de to 1.2.5 until today and there are questions I can't answer by myself. One question is: Are the fontsize settings in encompass still working? Then perhaps prior to public releases support sites can have all the information needed about upcmoing releases prior to it hitting the street. In other words our support sites should be activly involoved in Envo development instead of sitting back and waiting for things to be spoon fed to them. Just as Envo as a whole activly engages our end user community so too should we as developers engage each other! But not after there is a problem.....instead before a problem exists. Just my two cents worth! Zoom |

1) Sorry, I posted several times here, that I want to engage me much more for eNvolution than I do until now (zero reaction), after translating about 3.000 phrases and some manuals to german. 2) Developers should also have a look into community, WindMeUp hasn't been at eNvo.de since about two weeks. But we can communicate better! That is one of the reasons we have this development email list. All developers should use it to keep up on information and share information. It's silly to think that developers are going to be up to date on progress if they choose not to utilize the resources at their disposal. That is all I was suggesting. But we can't create rules or structure REQUIREING developers to use it such as what Denver eluded to in his previous post. That just pushes people away. So...who is this person your referring to Max. I can talk to him/her and explain this to them. This issue is really getting blown out of proportion. It's nothing more than simple mis-communication. So instead fo everyone trying to figure out who to blame...why don't we instead decide to bridge the mis-communication by inviting this person into the development list? Zoom |
