Good News today. I finish work on MySQL side of the Multi-Site install for 1.2.5 and you can see it in action at www.envolution20.linuxguru.ca or at www.envolution.linuxguru.ca. 1.2.5 Kicks Ass. Anyone interested in obtaining a sneak peak at the installer can email me or respond to the list and I will email it to you. New in this version: -Fragmented scripts are history. -Form based Updates at the 80% mark -You Can now set the following for sites 0-20 -Sitename -Slogan -Theme //depreciated -Dynamic Keywords -Admin Mail -Notify Email -Notify Subject -Allow User Delete -Send Delete Mail -Send Add Mail -Send User Pass -Use Compression -Update Story One Title -Update Story One Home Text -Update Story One Body Text -Update Story Two Title -Update Story Two Home Text -Update Story Two Body Text I eventually want to be able to use this as and administration tool. It works perfect if you can write like s:5:"site1"; where needed. I either need to @ the INSERT INTO's for group perms in newinstall.php or code around if UPGRADE=NEW first though. I want to be able to run it after the install to make widespread changes to a portal quickly. TO DO: -Oci8 compatability -Upgrade path -More module_vars -Insert Catagories -Insert Stories -And on and on and on... |

I'm looking for a few good examples of Envolution in use - good active sites; but preferably with general (non-computer technology) content. Is there one place where I can find a list of sites using Envolution - or anyone want to give me a few examples of 'showcase' examples? If such a list doesn't exist, then wouldn't this be one of the best ways of promoting Envo - couldn't we create this as part of the Envo network sites? Thanks in anticipation. Em |

Look at http://www.envolution.it/index.php?name=3DWeb_Links&file=3Dindex or at the section Web Links of every Envo site. Bye, Teddy. -----Original Message----- From: env...@li...
