Too old as ? Or what ? I have _no_ knowledge of > assembler programming ;-)) Allright; went through the Makefile/Makefile.in; and tried to remove the -c from the compile options for .S* files... That seems to get one step further, but then... as -I../ asm_blend.S -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/asm_blend.lo as: unrecognized option `-PIC' make[3]: *** [asm_blend.lo] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/poke/doc/src/cvs/e17/libs/imlib2/src' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/poke/doc/src/cvs/e17/libs/imlib2' make[1]: *** [all] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/poke/doc/src/cvs/e17/libs/imlib2' make: *** [build-stamp] Error 2 So, removing -c (which doesn't seem to be a possible option for as here on debian, dunno of other distros/versions), fixed something, but I dunno where the -fPIC and -DPIC comes from... -- ask not what you can do for your country, ask what your country did to you. |
