Maybe any "{gnome,kde}-config --prefix" results are useful? As for "$KDEAPPLNKDIR $GNOMEAPPLNKDIR $OTHERAPPLNKDIR", I don't know if that makes much sense. It seems to me that the .desktop files these days all go into <prefix>/share/applications. Nobody seems to care much anyway, so maybe I should just drop my e_gen_menu suggestion into the scripts dir as e_gen_menu.new. Or is it plain useless? /Kim |
