Hi, A new popup appeared on my mother's desktop to tell an update for Enlightenment-0.17.3. This dialog is not translated and I can't find the translation strings. If I missed the sentences in the .pot files, can anybody tell me where it is? These are the untranslated sentences: Update Notice Your enlightenment version is not the current latest release. The latest version is: Please visit http://www.enlightenment.org or update your system packages to get a new version. Bother me later Never tell me If these sentences does not exist in any Gettext file, is there anybody who can tell to E-developer to watch out for my mother and her null knowlege of English? The current branch is master, see the asterisk. To switch to a different branch the command is this: $git checkout branch_name The first time you use this command it downloads what is needed, further times it will just switch because it already has what it needs. "master" is the devel branch, the one that will be e18, and it changes constantly. "enlightenment-0.17" is e17 branch. The tarball you have has been generated from enlightenment-0.17, but I don't know how recent are files in it; surely it is useless for e18, i.e. the master branch, e.g. because it does not contain serbian translations I've recently committed to master. No, the command is as Igor said but /path/to/enlightenment refers to the enlightenment source, not /usr/share/enlightenment.
