When building imlib2_loaders from the CVS repo, the configure script trys to find edb-config.
However, even though edb-config is installed *and* I explicitly tell configure this ie
shell> ./configure --prefix=/usr/X11R6 --with-edb-config=/usr/local/e17/bin/edb-config
I still get this error:
The edb-config development script was not found in your execute
path. This may mean one of several things
1. You may not have installed the edb-devel (or edb-dev)
2. You may have edb installed somewhere not covered by your path.
If this is the case make sure you have the packages installed, AND
that the edb-config script is in your execute path (see your
shell's manual page on setting the $PATH environment variable), OR
alternatively, specify the script to use with --with-edb-config.
Has anyone seen this before ?

I think the file stamp.h.in should be removed from the cvs tree because
it is generated by the built process.=20
The bad effect of this appears when CVSREAD is set to readonly so that
the stamp.h.in can't be updated and the configure process failed.
