e17 still does this - problem is there is no way to get a message / event that
metadata changed at the moment - there is for files in a dir. so u can still use
the metadata to set the path to a bg.db

yup - why the hell do u think 40 Gb drives are dirt cheap? :) also - seriously -
how many are u really goign to use ? you can always symlink - but i prefer the
idea of copy - because then u can delete or move the original and the dirs still
work - u can just tar them up and give the dirs to peopal as "setups" or
conifgs.. its simple. it works - yes it usesmore space. disk space is so dirt
cheap - it doesnt matter.

yup. the numebr of these is minisucle. most dirs are user owend that they will
browse thru - if they arent they will be rtemovable media - so tis the cd of a
softwar package they are installing - and i WANT this feature for that..
software to be instaleld can have a nice custom cd background, iconbar to choose
"install" from etc. - all nice and costom - yes it's different to unix and what
your'e used to. i'm not here to be "normal" and "what your'e used to". :)
