I have been using my pgp signatures for years without a password, and it
was well supported in enigma under thunderbird.
Few days ago I upgraded GnuPG then now everytime I send an email it
prompts me for my pgp key password, which actually doesn't exist nor I
am able to bypass.
I then tried to go under "key management" of GnuPG trying to add a
password but still failed as I was being asked for password to open the
key before I could change my password.
What can I do???

You could try to downgrade to the previous version of GnuPG, change the password to be sure it's NULL, then export the private key to a file, and then upgrade again and import the key from the file you created.
Alternatively, if you have a copy of your key somewhere on a USB stick or similar, you could import that key and try if it works without a password.
Apart from this, there is nothing else that could be done to help you. If GnuPG requests a password, then that's because the key is protected by a password - GnuPG would not request a password if that would not be necessary.

I suspect that during the upgrade, your keyring was not updated properly. Please follow the instructions in the following thread, that should hopefully fix the issue:

Thanks. Tried, still not working.

Well, then it looks like GnuPG does require a password for your key.
Could it be that your key is indeed protected by a password, but you used to store it in some password manager?
It wasn't required before upgrade. :(
