I'm no computer wiz but need engimail for my new position. I downloaded thunderbird 17.0.5
Running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5
When i click on the Open PGP-> key generation->new key. I get an error stating Open PGP alert, Error in accessing Engimail service.
I read all the previous postings on this. I downloaded MacGPG2 and installed it using the wizard. Still nothing. I went into the Open PGP prefrences and it says it cant find the GNUPG.
What is my next step. I can provide screenshots if it is helpful

which Enigmail version are you running?
What happens, if you open a terminal and type "gpg2 --version"
What happens, if you open a terminal and type "/usr/local/MacGPG2/bin/gpg2 --version"
without the quotes.
