Running Thunderbird (24.0, ubuntu 13.10), Enigmail 1.6. Smartcard reader Reiner SCT komfort.
When I compose a message to adele@gnupp.de, which is signed xor encrypted, then everything is fine.
But when I want to send message signed and encrypted, then I get the following error:
Das Senden wurde abgebrochen. /usr/bin/gpg --charset utf-8 --display-charset utf-8 --batch --no-tty --status-fd 2 --comment "Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/" --encrypt --sign --always-trust --encrypt-to 0x811ADE38 -r <adele@gnupp.de> -u 0x811ADE38 --passphrase-fd 0 --no-use-agent --yes -o /tmp/encfile-1 /tmp/key.asc gpg: '/tmp/key.asc' kann nicht geöffnet werden: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden gpg: /tmp/key.asc: sign+encrypt failed: Fehler beim Öffnen der Datei
Thank you Gerrit
That's a bug in Enigmail. Nothing you could do to fix this.
The problem is in the function that adds public keys to the mail. If you don't use this function, then Enigmail should work fine.
I fixed this on trunk. If you use the latest nightly build from https://www.enigmail.net/download/nightly.php then this should be fixed.
