Is it possible to re-validate a message in order to see if it's susequently been altered?
I'm thinking of the scenario where a quote (say) of 10 items has been given by a sender signing the email with Enigmail, and the recipient subsequently fraudulently alters the figure to 100, claiming that was the figure quoted by the sender.

Whenever you view a message, Enigmail will validate it. In other words, if the message was altered, the signature would be shown as invalid.
