I started using the Thunderbird, Enigmail, Open PGP combo a few months ago. The first several weeks everything worked fine and messages were easily sent and received encrypted. Then I started getting unresponsive script errors while trying to type in my passphrase using Open PGP. If I click stop script the email goes out immediately plain text. If I click continue or nothing at all I'm able to finish typing the passphrase and send the email out encrypted. Why would this start to happen all of the sudden?
