Hi, I have recently updated my Mac to OS X 10.15. Then Enigmail stopped working with Thunderbird. So I de-installed and re-installed. When I try to run the Enigmail setup, it keeps loading and loading, while in the dialogue box it says: "Inspecting your setup" (rough translation, my OS is in German). Then I looked at this message board found some tips regarding the SKS Dos attack. I tried to run the script, replacing the path in the first command line with my own, and get the result: "No such file or directory". I am no expert. So maybe the problem is obvious to a lot here (I hope), but it is not to me.

First, the dialog should not run forever saying "inspecting your system". If it still does, can you check the Thunderbird Error Console for an error and let me know what it is? (menu Tools > Developer Tools > Error Console).
But if Enigmail is already configured, then there is no need to re-run the setup wizard. Uninstalling and reinstalling Enigmail does not change anything.
If you say Enigmail stopped working, then what precisely did not work? Was the Enigmail menu still visible, or what was the error message you got?

unfortunately it seems to be indefinitely "inspecting your system". I let it run yesterday and I did not stop until I eventually clicked "cancel" after roughly one hour. I did so again today but cancelled after a couple of minutes. Afterwards I took this screenshot of the Error Console:

Hi Patrick,
unfortunately it seems to be indefinitely "inspecting your system". I let it run yesterday and I did not stop until I eventually clicked "cancel" after roughly one hour. I did so again today but cancelled after a couple of minutes. Afterwards I took this screenshot of the Error Console:
Thanks, I'll check that.
I found a bug that I fixed in Enigmail 2.1.3. I expect that this would resolve this issue.
