    Hi

Don't know why, but everytime I reboot my computer, I need to re-run the enigmail installer.
PGP keys are saved fine, just the enigmail settings are lost

    Thunderbird 68.7.0 (32-bit)

    Any ideas??

Hard to tell from the little info you gave…Windows? MacOS? Linux? Which flavor? Installed as XPI from enigmail.net, from distro repo, as flatpack/snap? Also true for other AddOns?

That keys aren't touched is due to the fact that they aren't stored in enigmail but GnuPG.

Sidenote (should not have impact on the above issue): Why 32bit? Are you on a 32bit OS (untypical these days)? (https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/all/#E)

    Windows 10 Pro - 64 bit version
Installed as add-in from within thunderbird

All other add-ons seem to work fine

    Other addons:-
    cardbook
    category manager
    compactheader
    duplicatecontactsmanager
filelink provider foir owncloud and Nextcloud
    Lightning
    Manually sort folders
    Provider for CalDAV and CardDAV
    Remove duplicate messages (Alternate)
    tbsync
    Use BCC instead C

I also use the 'English(Australia) Dictionary'

I normally leave thunderbird running at all times, and rarely restart my machine, but when I do, EVERY TIME I need to run the enigmail wizard and change my settings

Not a huge problem, and I really appreciate the work that has been put into this add-on

That indeed is strange. I know my recommendation is cumbersome, but please consider creating a fresh TB profile, do a basic account setup, install EM there and see what happens if you restart TB with that profile. I suspect some weird prefs.js issue that may or may not be directly related to EM.

You mal also consult the debug log EM creates. You may have to enable "Display Expert Settings and Menus" though.

Apart from your issue I'd recommend using TB 64bit on W10.

Could it be that there is a user.js file in your Thunderbird profile directory, containing some Enigmail settings?
