extensions.enigmail.protectHeaders is not used anymore. You must have use a nightly build of Enigmail that used that pref in the past. extensions.enigmail.protectReferencesHdr is not documented on purpose, as I don't recommend to enable the option at all. I will actually remove the related functionality in the next release.
