    Hi!

I want to send my public key as an attachment by default with every mail.
My key is a 4096 bit RSA created with gnupg before enigmail.

I tried to tick "Attach my public key to messages" in User setting, but whenever i reopen the setting, the tick is missing, trying to send an after the option is ticked, nothing work.
Enigmail can send my pubkey if i ask it manually per mail.

    Thanks,
    g0rbe

First, if you enable Autocrypt (which is true by default), then your key is automatically added to every message in a header, i.e. invisibly to end users.

In order to attach your key, you have to set up your user settings such that you select a specific key ID, that is not via "Use email address to identify OpenPGP key".

      I didn't know the first, cool :)

I use " Use specific OpenPGP key ID" without success.

You're right, the "Attach key" setting is not displayed correctly when reopening the Account settings, even though the value is correctly stored if you close the Account Management dialog.
