The "PGP/MIME" messages sent from iPGMail have the following structure. This is clearly not a PGP/MIME message, but just a bunch of crap with a (potentially) encrypted MIME message part.
Well, yes, but in contrast to chances to be heard by Microsoft to make them change Exchange (all versions!), chances are that iPGMail devs will actually fix it and create proper PGP/MIME: https://ipgmail.com/support/

I already got a reply from the iPGMail developer. If you use the default iOS mailer (I think via iCloud) then the message arrives broken. However, if you configure your own SMTP server, then the messages should be OK.

I think Enigmail can work around this in quite a similar way as we already do for Exchange messages from Apple Mail.
