Recently I've tried to forward an unencrypted email. Enigmail asked me for a password to my subkey and sent the email signed but not encrypted. It's never happened before.
Is it about settings?

This depends on both your general settings as well as your per-recipient rules.
You probably only have ticked the checkbox
[ ] Sign non-encrypted messages by default
and not
[ ] Encrypt messages by default
and/or your per-recipient rules allow "sign" but not "encrypt" for this recipient.
