before I am going to explain my problem here are some details:
Thunderbird-Version: 52.7.0 (32-Bit)
Windows 10 Education 1709
PGP-Software / PGP-Version: GnuPG 2.2.6
I am using Thunderbird with Enigmail. I created my own PGP-Keys and imported them to my "Enigmail-Wallet". A friend sent me his public key which I also imported to Enigmail.
After that he sent me an encrypted Mail by using the protocol "INLINE PGP". I opened it and thunderbird asked me for the passphrases. I entered them and the result was the decrpyted mail! Everthing is fine!
Next he sent me an encrypted Mail by using the protocol "PGP/MIME". Here starts the trouble. I opend the email and nothing is happening. There is no Popup-Window for the passphrases. I searched in my account-settings and found under open-pgp-security the box "using PGP/MIME as standard". The activation of the box didn't helped.
Now I have no more solutionsprocesses. I hope you guys can help me!

Hard to tell what could be wrong. Is there any visible information at all? Is there anything in the Thunderbird Error console (menu Tools > Developer Tools > Error Console)?
