2 weeks ago I found p≡p (pretty easy privacy), installed it and liked it. Later I convinced a friend to install it too on his machine. Yesterday we had some discussions about possibilites and problems of this addon, so we made a test. Here are my observations:
Environment:
Ubuntu 18.04 (up to date), Thunderbird plus Enigmail with p≡p
My friend has 4 mail-accounts on his machine (2 for him, 2 of his wife). Lets name them:
* XX@gmx.net
* YY@web.de
* ZZ@t-online.de
* AA@gmx.de
We made our inital tests with the address XX@gmx.net, so I could send him encrypted mails to his address and also back from this address to me.
Now we made a test using the mail-account YY@web.de to my mail-account. The mail arrived on my side, was decrypted so I could read the text. By importing the key for this account Thunderbird offered me the key of the account ZZ@t-online.de.
This mail-account was not used for sending/encrypting this mail. So why this?
Can someone please explain this. Thanks.

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
the mail I received was sent encrypted. By presenting it it is is decrypted, aka I can read the contents. By klicking on the yellow triangle I recive a message-box saying that this mail cannot be encrypted because the key is missing. See the attached picture (text is in german).
Looks like it is confused this enigmail-add-on (plus pep).
