Hi, I couldn't find anyone else on the forum here, to whom this has happened. I noticed the issue with Enigmail v1.6 already installed, and also with the Enigmail beta. Sometimes an error message comes up, saying that an outgoing email cannot be signed/encrypted, and sometimes, although a GPG operation is specified, it is ignored and the email gets sent without it.
I don't know if I can downgrade back to TBird v24 or whatever, whether I need to do so, and what the consequences to doing so may be.

After several openings and closings of both Thunderbird and the Gnu Privacy Assistant, signing has been successful, for no other apparent reason.
