I tried to decrypt a message and nothing at all happened. And then I found out that enigmail as a whole was unresponsive. The dropdown menu doesn't even open (pictured) and the toolbar menu is completely unresponsive except for opening the preferences window, within which everything is yet again unresponsive.
The thunderbird error console displays the following errors related to enigmail.
Any help getting enigmail back into working order would be much appreciated.

Did this behaviour reoccur after a restart of Thunderbird?
If yes: The error messages above show that vital files of the Enigmail installation are missing. There must have been a massive incident (file system error, some process did delete files, maybe accidential).
Try to uninstall Enigmail and then reinstall it.
