    Hi there,

I haver set up encryption using enigmail and under Preferences > Sending tab, I have selected "Use default encryption settings". My email messages are being sent and recieved ok, however, I have a few queries:

    1. Is there a way of confirming emails sent is indeed incrypted?
    2. If the recipient replies back, would I recieve their reply encrypted?

    Thanks

    1. Yes, there is a status bar, as shown on the following screenshot:
      https://enigmail.net/documentation/4-06.png
The status bar would display "Decrypted Message" at the very beginning if the mail has been encrypted.
    2. Usually people would continue to use encryption for replies. That's the default behavior of most email clients.

    1. Ahh great. Yes i can see <<autocrypt: addr="*from" email="" add*="" ;="" keydata="">> when. i. do "View Source" of the recieved mmessage.</autocrypt:>

    2. Good to know - may be worth sending them a mail first from my mail box if was expecting sensetive information..

    Cheers
