I am using Thunderbird portable and naturally Enigmail. I can use my older keys but the new ECC 25519 keys I generated with Kleopatra are not being imported by the Key Management part of Enigmail. Works fine on desktop or laptop computers but I am trying to use thunderbird portable and those new keys are not being imported. I get no error or anything, just doesnt work. Is it something I am doing wrong or is this a bug in the portable edition? I got it from portableapps.com
Which version of Enigmail do you use? Older versions cannot import ECC keys by themselves.
On the portable it is still 2. The newest 2.13 will not work on the older version of Thunderbird because portable apps is having trouble making the newer version of Thunderbird. When I am able to use 2.13 on a newer Thunderbird I will let you know the result. Stay tuned.
