I just got Enigmail working on Thunderbird and its very good but it keeps an unencrypted email on my outbox, all my devices are linked so the unencrypted email goes to those out boxes on those devices too. A bit of a security risk.
Is there an option to stop this ?
Many thanks,
Aindriu

Do you mean there is an unencrypted copy of a mail that was sent out encrypted? That's not how Enigmail works. Copies of sent messages are in the same cryptographic state as what went out.

Yes, it has changed after I logged back in. I'm using thunderbird and it had the message in plain text in the outbox but it after i logged back in I was required to enter a password. THANKS !

Your passphrase has been cached, so the message was decrypted automatically and it looked like plaintext.
I love it thanks !
