I've lost my old private key, worse - I know I made a backup and I can't find it. Fortunately, nothing too sensitive is encrypted with that pair. I made a new pair, and rashly uploaded the public key before testing it.
I'm entering a password from a password manager (Keepass) usingautotype but the new key won't accept the password. I don't know if the password is too long (120 characters), if I used incompatible characters or if there's a problem with the autotype. Is there a way I can nail this down & get it working?
Also, there are now 2 public keys associated with my email, neither of which I can currently decrypt. Is there any way I can get them off the server to reduce the confusion without having the password?
