I upgraded my girlfriends computer from Linux Mint 17 to LM 18.
Of course, I backuped everything.
When reinstalling the latest version of thunderbird and enigmail and importing her secret key,
I wanted her to test, if it works, but then she said, she does not know the passphrase.
She was using THunderbird with Enigmail for a long time now, so I found it impossible to not know this passphrase, however, I see this option, that you can save the passphrase with help of the passowordmanager. She probably (no other way, because I got encrypted E-Mails from her) used this option. (I know this is bad for security, but she probably doesn't care as much as I do)
As she forgot this passphrase now, because she used it only once, where is it stored? Remember, it must be stored in the computer or the file-system, because she used the passwordmanager and I backuped everything. But I can't find it.
Is it in the .thunderbird folder? Or somewhere else? There is this Thunderbird-passwordmanager, but I think it only saves the passwords for your email-accounts (as I can see it). So is there a Passphrase manager for enigmail or gpg?
I am really grateful for your help.
Enjoy your day,
Tom

Many Linux desktop environments have their own passphrase managers;
check there. The Enigmail passphrase is not cached anywhere in Thunderbird.

There is no such thing as an Enigmail password manager. If your girlfriend used a password manager, then it was provided by the Linux system. I imagine it's gnome keyring, but I can't tell you much more.
