In-place decryption no longer working?

    Hello,
    since the latest update of my Thunderbird-Addon the in-place decryption of messages is no longer working. I get prompted for the pass phrase but nothing else happens.
    I can decrypt-to-folder just fine. But then I have to decrypted messages lying in a folder which I do not want.
    Is there any way to get the old behavior back?

    Hi,

    no there is no error message. Other than being the German localization, my Thunderbird should be pretty much a vanilla setup. Enigmail + Lightning are the only addons installed.

    Wait a minute, something is not right here...

    When I open an encrypted message in the message preview pane and scroll down to the end, Thunderbird shows the source of the next message in my inbox.
    For example:

    The encrypted message and the SourceForge password recovery are completely unrelated other than being next to each other in my inbox.

    This happens with encrypted mails as soon as I decrypt them to another folder. These messages stay that way even if I restart Thunderbird and/or deactivate Enigmail.

    Then you might want to repair the foler. Context menu on the folder > Properties > button Repair folder.

    Well yes that solves that problem with the broken messages. The in-place decrypt still does not work, though.

    Is there anything further I could investigate?
