why do I have to send an email to post a new topic? Really strange.
Enigmail 2 is totally buggy: PGP accounts are lost, SMIME does not work
any more. I wish to go back to 1.9 !
How can I disable enigmail autoupdate? Even if I disable the generally
autoupdate function for addons in Thunderbird, the update to 2.0 will
always be done.
Instead of just reverting to older versions, you should report the problems with as much details as possible to get them solved.
What do you mean with "pgp accounts are lost"?
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
With "loosing PGP accounts" I mean that my private keys in my keystore
are NOT FOUND in Thunderbird anymore and therefore I can not integrate
my PGP keys in Thunderbird to email accounts. With Version 1.9
everything is fine.
Also where is the old SMIME button in Thunderbird?
How to DISABLE autoupdate in enigmail???

That's a TB AddOn feature: Open AddOns Tab, click Enigmail -> Details, select "AutoUpdate OFF"
