Made a fresh installation of PGP4win, thunderbird, and Enigmail
    The setup wizard windows displays

    Looking for GnuPG.... OK
    Checking your existing setup...

here it ends the setup stuck in that window, am not comming further

I tried to configue it manually, but
"My account / user ID" can not be selected in the "Generate OpenPGP Key" window.

I assume you did already configure your email account? If yes, can you attach a debug log file?

I configured it manually, and i was able to send receive e-mails to adele,
but key creation in enigmail key management is still not possible because in the drop down menu "My account / user ID" can not be selected. (i see 3dots)
I could create my key only wit "Kleopatra" sot i have to use a specific PGP Key. ( not assigned to my e-mail)
    Attachment debug log file:

The debug log file does not show any signs of running the setup wizard or the key creation dialog.
Please re-open the key creation dialog and only then save the debug log file.

That's weird. Your log looks as if you don't have any configured email account. Can you confirm that this is wrong?

If so, can you please open the key creation dialog once more, and then go back to the main Thunderbird window and open menu Tools > Developer Tools > Error Console. Is there any error in the console that contains something like "enigmail" in one of the lines?

yes i have a working e-mail account and the console looks normal , i attached it.

i can send e-mails if i select the options "use specific OpenPGP key" , i can send a key to adele
But weird was that, she accepted my public key only as i copied it manually to the mail as plain text.

I checked the code, and I fear the log will not tell us much. Can I ask you to install the following version of Enigmail (it's version 2.1.2 with the only change that there is a better logging in the key creation dialog):

    https://enigmail.net/download/nightly/enigmail-nightly-enigmail-2.1-branch-all.xpi

After you installed it, please restart Thunderbird, then open the key creation dialog and then attach a new debug log file.

    Thanks,
    Patrick

That's it! You don't seem to have a default account. That's not handled correctly in Enigmail, which will break the key creation, and also the setup wizard. I have created a new beta build that should now work correctly for you (same link as before).
