After upgrading from Fedora (Linux) 26 to 28 and starting Thunderbird I saw the "What's new in Enigmail v2.0" page.
"New pep Junior Mode (Pretty Easy Privacy)" sound very interesting. Unfortunately it seems I cannot get it to work:
When mailing a mail from one of my identities to another, I would expect to see the public key attached. But there is no attachment. Same result if I send a mail to a disposable eMail address.
---------Technical details -----------------
Name Thunderbird
Version 60.0
Build ID 20180829122858
Enigmail 2.0.8 true {847b3a00-7ab1-11d4-8f02-006008948af5}
gnupg2 : 2.2.8 | Release : 1.fc28
Thunderbird: Edit -> Preferences -> Privacy -> Enigmail Junior Mode is to "Automatically decide if Junior Mode should be used." Alternative would be "Force using S/MIME and Enigmail". Opton "Force using pep (Pretty Easy Privacy) is grayed out.
Hello Thorsten: that's a known issue which was now fixed with version 1.0.24 of pEp.
Check if ~./thunderbird/$yourProfile/pepmda/version.json has package_version 1.0.24.
If not (lower number), just delete the folder pepmda and start again.

What do I miss?
According to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etutL6qHQU8 it should work out of the box, shouldn't it?
Thanks in advance for any insight!
Cheers,
Thorsten
