I'm using Thunderbird 17.0.2 with enigmail extension 1.5.1 on 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1. I recently revoked a key and generated a new keypair for my gmail account. When I try to sign a message with OpenPGP, I get the following error message:
Send operation aborted. Key 0x(keyID) not found or not valid. The (sub-)key might have expired,
where (keyID) is the ID for the revoked keypair. How do I set Thunderbird up to use the new keypair? I've searched "help" and this forum without finding any reference to this question.
Thanks in advance.

You should set your new key Id in account settings -> OpenPGP Security (radio button "Use specific OpenPGP key ID".
Please also make sure that you don't have your old key Id entered in gpg.conf.
Ludwig,
Thank you SO much! I would never have figured this out without your help.
All the best.
