Firefox 73.0.1 indicates that enigmail version 2.1.2 has been disabled (Enigmail is incompatible with Firefox 73.0.1.). I would like to remove enigmail so I can reinstall. There is no remove button on the add-ons page of firefox. Firefox indicates that enigmail cannot be removed in the normal way. To remove enigmail from firefox I have to go into my file system and remove a file or files. Will someone please let me know what file or files to remove. I have already removed all xpi files and removed all add-ons to firefox. This is on Ubuntu 18.

Enigmail is an addon for Thunderbird, I cannot see how you could possibly install it in Firefox. I can only imagine that Enigmail is installed via Ubuntu - but that would be a probem that should be reported to Ubuntu.

Thank you for responding. Yes I know enigmail is primarily for Thunderbird. In the Firefox add-ons area I see definetly see that enigmail is installed in Firefox and has been disabled. Firefox does not supply a button or link to remove enigmail. Firefox specifically indicates that enigmailmail cannot be removed automatically and suggests removing xpi files. I only have 6 or so add-ons so I removed all of them and deleted all xpi files I could find to no avail. Enigmail is still there and still disabled. Thank you again for responding.
